FAQ: Error code 52 on HP laserjet IIp IIp printer
This error means that you have a bad scanner motor. It could be something else.. but not in the last 100 cases that I've seen.
The motor gets old and burns out the connections on the PC board. We replace these everyday here at Landmark. For immediate service, call Landmark Printers at 800-466-5687. We fix all HP Laserjet and other laser printers. Most printers are sent back within 24 hours of receipt.
