New Lighting Technology

Light emitting diodes, or LEDs, have been used to illuminate your dashboard for years. Now, LEDs can be used for your signal and brake lights, and could soon be used to produce headlights. New light emitting capacitor technology, or LECs, use electroluminescent phosphor to produce a flat light source which is flexible and can be wrap around different shapes.
 We’ve come a long way from the incandescent light bulb and it looks as if new technology will make our days brighter and more energy efficient.
